Oh s**t…..
U$ 100 M?
Oh s**t…. [2]
By the way, Hong Kong seems to be a beautiful place.
I had another picture in my mind.
Dude, keep us updated. It’ll get even more interesting.
Hah, I get what you’re up to now. Didn’t realise you had quite so much leverage against Cathay… so excited to see how this plays out. Seriously, reading your blog gets so entertaining at times like this.
Yeah I had no idea HK looked like that either
If you wore that hat on the flight then yes, you should have been offloaded on aesthetic grounds alone
Sebastian – I have to say that you are plummeting in my estimation. I’m reading your book at the moment and I have been enjoying it but this is nonsense and it will negatively affect how lots of people see you.
How many great men would do what you are now doing? Do you even begin to realise how ridiculous you sound on this video? If you think that CP will pay you anything of substance you are mistaken. Talk of “millions” is nonsense. On what basis would those damages be awarded? I admit that I know nothing of HK law but I have practiced law for the last 14 years and I cannot even begin to see how what you allege could give rise to such an award. If you have taken good legal advice you will know this of course.
It’s time to introduce a little reality into this story. I don’t know you but you have written interesting stuff and I like your ambition. I think you have an opportunity to stand back, apply some strategic thinking and change your direction before it’s too late.
Thanks for getting a copy of the book, I appreciate it.
All we can do is what we think is right. Give it time and you’ll see what happens; or not, you should only be here if you’re enjoying the site and it’s benefitting your life. I can please only some of the people, some of the time…
Thanks for the gracious reply to my, with hindsight, reasonably ungracious comments. I have benefitted from your site and will continue to return – just don’t agree with your approach to this incident.
Best wishes
Andrew
No problem. I’ve got a lot of underlying knowledge and assumptions that most people don’t have about what’s going on. We’ll see how it shakes out, thanks again for grabbing Ikigai and intelligent dissenting opinions always welcome.
Bwahaha this is becoming ridiculously awesome and the guys who mistreated you must be peeing in their pants right now! :p
Keep us updated man.
:)
Sebastian, I’m an unbelievably enormous fan of yours, but I too disagree with how you’re handling this. Blasting Cathay Pacific with negative publicity is great, but suing them for 100 million? Come on. I understand that your cards are on the table and you may thus feel obligated to follow through in this instance. But for the future, I urge you to reconsider.
The ability to arbitrarily demand large sums of money from persons/companies for various (minor) grievances does untold damage to economies and cultures. The touchy-feely cover-your-ass mentality that has become increasingly prevalent at both individual and institutional levels is a direct result of this bullshit legal culture.
You’re abusing a system that shouldn’t even exist. You think you’re punishing evildoers, but in reality, you may just be creating further bureaucratic bullshit for future air travelers.
So they haven’t tried to pay you off? Idiots. You must be looking forward to making them eat humble pie
This was beyond delusional. I just wasted 6 minutes of my life :-(
